About the festival

The Ghana × Jamaica Festival is a six-day celebration that draws a direct line between two of the most musically and culturally influential countries on earth. Headline concerts, heritage tours of Cape Coast and Elmina, food villages pairing jollof with jerk, and hands-on workshops in kente, drumming, and chocolate making.

Hotels & Deals is the official travel partner. We've negotiated festival-only rates with airlines, hotels, and local operators, so the full trip — flights, stay, transfers, festival access, and experiences — is one booking on one invoice in your currency of choice.

FAQ

Common questions

What's included in the package price?

Hotel for 5 nights, daily breakfast, all listed tours and experiences, festival entry, airport transfers, and a Ghanaian SIM card with data. Flights are not included by default — see the Flights section in the booking flow.

Can I travel on different dates?

Yes. The fixed Dec 2–7 package is our flagship, but we also build flexible custom packages that mix and match flights, stay, and tours around your own dates. Contact us and we'll quote you within 24 hours.

Which currencies can I pay in?

Quotes can be issued in USD, GHS, or JMD. We accept card payments, mobile money (MTN MoMo), and bank transfer. Larger group bookings can be paid in instalments.

Do I need a visa?

Jamaican passport holders need an e-visa to enter Ghana. We help you with the application as part of the booking. A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required for all visitors.

What's the cancellation policy?

Free changes up to 60 days before arrival. Between 60 and 30 days, a 25% fee applies. Within 30 days, the package is non-refundable but transferable to another traveler. Travel insurance strongly recommended.

Is there support during the festival?

Yes. Every guest gets a 24/7 WhatsApp line to a Ghana-based travel concierge for the full duration of the trip.
